Barnum was right

To paraphrase P.T. Barnum, you can never go broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. Keep that in mind if you watch the "debate" tonight. George W. Bush speaks at a seventh grade level, with short sentences. John Kerry speaks at a tenth grade level, with longer sentences. We've come a long way since the days of President John Adams.
